I (Loren) attended a numerology seminar in July, 2009 by an internationally recognized numerologist, Tania Gabrielle. One segment of the seminar was devoted to people changing their names to numbers that are highly fortunate. These people are actually changing their names legally through the courts. They feel this strongly about changing their vibration to a fortunate vibration.
Many aspects of numerology are fixed by the full birth name; there is little doubt that changing your name will have a consequent effect on your journey through life. At one time or another, most people alter their names in some way. It may be that they acquire a nickname, get married, or in some cases go through the full legal process to change their formal name. Other things can change also – in the transition from being a child to an adult, a person may find that instead of being addressed by their first name, they are called Mr., Mrs., or Ms. Likewise, the attainment of social rank may result in title change. On successful completion of a PhD, for instance this may change to “Dr.,” or on joining the armed forces, it could be replaced with a military rank.
Each time that a name is changed, it will have an impact on the way that other people respond to it. There is no question that name changes that result from honors being bestowed, such as the addition of “Sir” or “Lord” will change how a person is perceived. Many famous people in the entertainment industry rely on alternative names for one reason or another.

I would look for stones that would vibrate to the number one.
If I were to choose stones for “Loren Mickelson”, some of the stones that could be used in a piece of jewelry could be; Chalcedony, Charoite, White Coral, Jet, Kyanite, Lapis Lazuli, Meteorite, Snowflake Obsidian, Brown Obsidian, Peridot, Opal, Pearl, Shell, Sodalite, and Zoisite just to name a few. This is just an example of the stones that could be used to enhance the vibration of your name. Not all the stones would be used. I would then calculate the Birth Name and Birth Date using the Pythagorean System. Some of the numbers that you would look at with this system would be the Destiny Number, Life Purpose Number, and Day of Birth calculation.
My Destiny Number is 84/12/3. Number 3 vibrates to the planet Jupiter. It represents idealism, higher education, foreign travel, and religion. 3 is the number of optimism, movement, expansion – and the Holy Trinity of the body, mind, and spirit.
My Life Purpose Number is 33. People with this number are advised not to abuse the astounding luck which will descend on them at some time during their life by allowing it to tempt them into laziness, overconfidence and a feeling of superiority. When a sense of humor and genuine humility accompany the 33 vibration, it is a wonderfully fortunate number.
My Day of Birth Number is 16/7. The 16 brings with it the Single number 7’s obligation and responsibility to listen to the voice within, which will always warn of danger through dreams or the intuition in time to avoid it. The inner voice must not be ignored.
